Smacksale.com finds the latest & best deals across the web and then aggregates them in one convenient location. Influenced by Digg & Reddit, Smacksale lets you vote up or down the deals that you either love or hate. This is another app built in less than 48 hours for the 2009 Rails Rumble.

We designed the experience of browsing the Smacksale website to be very straightforward. At once, a user is presented with a list of the hottest & most recent deals. In addition to being able to vote each of these offerings up or down, a user can also leave comments, save deals to their favorites directory, or browse a vast list of tags to view deals by category.

The RailsWizard gem is both the official repository of recipes for RailsWizard as well as a stand-alone tool to generate rails templates from the command line. The website and the gem are kept in version sync, so any recipes released to the gem will be simultaneously available on the web builder.

tldr.it programmatically summarizes lengthy articles and RSS feeds using natural language parsing. It is a web application that Intridea made in 48 hours for the annual Rails Rumble competition.
